Introduction

Migi is the parasite that lives in Shinichi's hand. Unlike the "successful" parasites, Magi have no desire to kill humans. Migi like the other parasites, is completely emotionless. His primary concern is survival, and he has threatened (and in some cases attempted) to kill other humans who threaten his and Shinichi's privacy. When he and Shinichi were first making a pact, he even threatened to remove Shinichi's other organs so he wouldn't put them both in danger.However, Migi can be reasoned with, and has just as much reason to distrust other parasites as Shinichi does. On the other hand, unlike Shinichi, Magi has no tendency to put himself in danger to protect other humans from the parasites.
Tamiya Ryouko

Introduction
Tamaya ryouko was a Shinichi's math teacher. She is infected with a parasite.It is later discovered that she is pregnant with a human child. First, she plans to experiment with the child to further her knowledge of humans. However, as the story progresses, she develops feelings of love, even for her child, and protects the child until her last breath. She voluntarily surrenders her child to Shinichi after realizing what it means to be a mother and have human emotions. She then dies from multiple gunshots by Hirama and the other investigators, though she would have survived if she had run away or saved herself.
Murano Satomi

Introduction
Murano Satomi is the secondary main character of the parasite Satomi series. She is Shinichi's best friend. Shinichi and Satomi develop a romantic relationship in the series. Still, their attraction and fondness for each other is tempered by Shinichi's fear of his own evil nature and Satomi's fear of Shinichi's secret behavior and mood swings as a result of the trials. After some time she knows about Migi and Shinichi. After learning that Shinichi is part parasite, Satomi firmly declares that this will do nothing to diminish his humanity as he still values all life.
At the end of the series, the two are revealed to end up together as a couple.
Takeshi Hirokawa

Hirokawa is the leader of a group of parasites that counts Reiko and Goto as members. The group seeks to gain political power so that they can establish safe houses where they can take their victims, hide them and kill them and eat them. Hirokawa won the mayoral election in the eastern city of Fukuyama, a small town of 500,000 people near Shinichi's hometown.Mayor Takeshi Hirokawa is a strong antagonist of the science fiction anime series Parasyte. He was eventually revealed to actually be a human who sympathized with the parasites, believing them to be the key to taking humanity down a chain or two.
